“Provides advice/support to members and information to others. Supports the development of effective school libraries and librarians, literacy, reading for pleasure and information literacy. Publishes a range of appropriate titles as well as a quarterly reviewing journal. Runs day training courses and also an annual conference/weekend course. Supports 16 national, regional and local branches.
