“Throught South Africa FoodBank opperates food rescue and distribution channels to assist community-based organisations that serve the most vulnerable. The Food Rescue programme sources food from supermarket chains that would otherwise go to landfill, and the Food Procurement programme buys staple foods to supplement rescued food to provide the hungry with nutritious, well balanced food parcels.
