“SAFE-UK supports rural communities in Malawi, with school fees, feeding and educating pre-school children, youth clubs with life skills programmes, and grandparent support groups. Mosquito nets and blankets have been given, along with training in the production and use of compost manure to aid self-sufficiency. A bamboo-growing project is increasing their access to a renewable source of fuel.
