The objects of the cio are:(1) advance the education of teachers, both qualified and unqualified, in sub-saharan africa (area of benefit) in particular, but not exclusively, through the provision of a) teacher training and development networks b) accessible online teaching and learning platforms c) promoting the continued development of individual and collective pedagogical knowledge and understanding.(2) relieve poverty in the area of benefit by the provision of education and training to educators living and working in limited resource environments, particularly (but not exclusively) (but not exclusively) in resource management and financial planning to enable better employment opportunities, self-reliance and improved livelihoods within the area of benefit. (3) assist in such ways as the charity trustees think fit any charity in the area of benefit whose aims include the advancement of teacher education and training.
