Oru paanai funds 391 schools in north sri lanka to provide a mid day meal for over 43,000 children. The school prepares a meal of rice and vegetables for its students. The rice and lentils are provided by the world food programme. The help we give enables the schools to provide a wholesome and palatable rice meal to the children who largely come from homes living below the poverty line.
